From our organic oasis immersed in the territory of Montalcino a collaboration was born between Col d’Orcia and the local Franchi beekeeper family business. The combination between the traditional experience of the Franchi family and Col d’Orcia’s vast uncontaminated terroir offers the optimal conditions for the production of a high-quality honey.

Our honey is produced by selected bees present at Col d’Orcia which graze among various different flower varieties and cover crops in the vineyards. The different flower varieties sown in the past years include white mustard, Alexandrian clover, phacelia, alfalfa and sulla. Added to these sown flowers are a variety of native wild flowers like strawberry tree flower, rosemary and ivy.
